Every destination is unique and The Happy Traveler embraces a travel style suitable for the place being visited. No fur coats at the beach and no swimsuits in museums. I do always try to find affordable lodging in the tourist zone - ideally within walking distance of most major attractions. Expensive hotels and resorts are saved for when most of my time will be spent at the venue.
